Classifications Basics Seminar Dates Announced

The WCIRB will produce two Classification 1.0 - Basics seminars this September - one in Burbank on September 11 and the other in San Francisco on September 17. This seminar will provide an overview of the California workers' compensation Standard Classification System, and cover fundamental concepts such as single and multiple enterprises, general inclusions and exclusions and standard exceptions. You will learn how to read classification phraseologies, footnotes and rules, and find out how to identify the key information required to properly classify a business.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is open to anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of the classification system. If you are new to workers' compensation or would like a refresher on basic classification concepts, please plan to attend the seminar.

The cost is $175 per person and includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. This course is approved by the California Department of Insurance for five continuing education units. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. We may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.
