Insurers, agents and brokers can now use DocuSign® digital signature technology to request authorization from policyholders to access experience rating worksheets, inspection reports and Comprehensive Risk Summary (CRS)® reports on WCIRB Connect®. Users will no longer have to print and fill out a Letter of Authorization (Form 810), obtain the policyholder’s signature, and upload the signed document to access policyholder data. In addition to providing significant savings in time and effort, the digital signature enhances the security and authentication of the authorization process.
This new, streamlined process also makes it quicker and easier for users to access a CRS Report, which provides a 10-year history of a policyholder’s policy, payroll and loss data. Learn more about the CRS Report.
The digital signature replaces uploading Form 810 which is scheduled to be phased out by October 1, 2018.
Please note that experience rating worksheets and inspection reports are always available in WCIRB Connect to the insurer of record without any policyholder authorization requirement, and to agents and brokers after uploading documents verifying them as the policyholder's agent or broker of record. A Letter of Authorization is always required to access a CRS report.
