The WCIRB is broadening its partnerships with industry and trade associations as part of its commitment to expanding educational resources. In support of this pursuit, the WCIRB is furthering its valued educational partnership with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of California (IIABCal) in 2018.
WCIRB Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary, Dave Bellusci, is a featured speaker at IIABCal’s prestigious Blue Ribbon Conference being held on May 6-10, 2018 at the Mauna Lani Resort in Hawaii. He will discuss robotics, artificial intelligence, the “Gig Economy” and other emerging factors that may transform the workforce and how workplace injuries are treated. In addition, IIABCal and the WCIRB continue their co-hosted educational webinar series in 2018. Each of these free 30-minute webinars focuses on specific workers’ compensation topics and gives attendees an opportunity to get their questions answered by WCIRB experts.
