Basic policy identification information for all policies incepting in a given year is available to the insurer of record. The data on each policy includes:

• Policy number
• Policy effective and expiration/cancellation dates
• Policyholder name (including DBAs)
• Policyholder’s mailing address
• Policyholder location(s)
• Experience modification(s)
• Estimated exposure amount(s) by classification code

Information on policy forms, rates or premium is not included.

Unit statistical information on the most recent correction at each report level for all policies incepting in a given year is available to the insurer of record. The unit statistical data is for each policy and includes:

• Policy number
• Policy effective and expiration/cancellation dates
• Exposure amount(s) by classification code
• Experience modification(s)
• Claim data including claim number, open or closed status, indemnity and medical amounts

Information on policyholder names or addresses is not included.

This product is a listing, by classification, of all advisory pure premium rates issued since 1995.  A listing of manual rates for all classifications from 1988 to 1994 is also included. 

These advisory underwriting rules, developed by the WCIRB, may be used by insurers to develop company manuals.

This advisory plan facilitates an experience-based adjustment of premium for eligible policyholders that were previously experience rated but for which a standard experience modification cannot be calculated due to one or more policies during the rating period being written by an insolvent insurer.

The California Workers' Compensation Experience Rating Plan—1995 includes the regulations, rating tables and formula for experience rating approved by the California Insurance Commissioner. The plan provides detailed experience rating information on topics such as experience rating terms, experience rating eligibility, experience period, change in status and combination of entities.

The California Workers' Compensation Uniform Statistical Reporting Plan—1995 (USRP) contains the workers' compensation insurance regulations for uniform statistical reporting approved by the California Insurance Commissioner. In addition to the plan, the publication includes description of the Standard Classification System and description of policy and unit statistical reporting requirements. The Miscellaneous Regulations for the Recording and Reporting of Data includes regulations approved by the California Insurance Commissioner regarding forms and coverage, group insurance, excess insurance and the insolvent insurer rating adjustment factor.
